L-Ascorbyl palmitate is white or yellowish powder with a slight citrus smell, insoluble in water and vegetable oil, easily soluble in ethanol (1 g/45 ml), MP107～117℃, with optical activity [α] 250+21～ 24°, can exist stably in dry air.
